Ahoy, mateys! It’s a new dawn, a new frontier, and a brand-new chain. The tides are shifting, and it’s time to set sail for Abstract, the new home of web3 gaming.
This isn’t just another chain. It’s a massive leap forward into an ecosystem built for speed, scalability, and consumer-friendly technology. If you’ve been keeping your ear to the ground, you already know Abstract is shaking up the space; easy onboarding, faster transactions, and a fresh wave of reward potential.
So what does this migration mean for you? More rewards, bigger earning opportunities, and a seamless experience as you dive into the Abstract ecosystem. Let’s break it all down.
What is Abstract Chain?
Abstract is the new frontier for blockchain gaming and consumer-friendly apps. Think Ethereum Layer 2, but built for the masses. It’s powered by ZK rollup technology, which means:
Blazing-fast transactions
Low fees
Seamless user experience
It’s a perfect match for Captain and Company and sets the stage for a massive upgrade with Abstract’s consumer audience.
Loot, Ho!
Every pirate needs his treasure, and with both Abstract’s native XP campaign as well as our ongoing play-to-nodedrop, there’s a goldmine of rewards up for grabs, where you can double-farm rewards just by playing!
Here’s how to start stacking rewards:
What’s the Difference Between mXP and Abstract XP?
Abstract XP is the core reward system for users and projects within Abstract Chain. Abstract recognizes engagement, achievements, and contributions across various dApps. Abstract XP is earned through interacting with dApps, trading, and engaging in the ecosystem. It’s a broad rewards system designed to boost activity across the chain
mXP is earned through specifically playing Captain and Company via in-game or idle mission tasks. It’s a reflection of your total participation inside of the game, and it converts into some amount of Abstract XP each Tuesday
True pirates will find big opportunities to participate across the entire Abstract ecosystem, and can come back to Captain & Company as their daily homebase to pick up even more XP.
How to Earn mXP?
Play & Interact: sink foes on the open sea or complete port missions
Quests: complete in-game tasks as you play
Guild: create a guild and invite players, taking a portion of their earnings as bonus
It’s as easy as that. No overthinking required, just hop into the game and get to pillaging the high seas, battling cutthroat raiders, gathering with your guildmates, and looting treasures. Or send yer ships and skellies on faraway adventures to passively collect loot while you're away from the keyboard.
Converting mXP to Abstract XP
The exact formula for the conversion process between mXP and Abstract XP is dynamic and will not be set in stone each week.
dApps on Abstract will have Abstract XP distributed to their users weekly
The amount of Abstract XP dApp communities will receive from Abstract may vary over time
The amount of Abstract XP you earn from Captain & Company is proportional to how much mXP you have minted in the past week versus all other players
The mXP you earn and loot in C&C will not immediately reflect in the Abstract portal. First, weekly calculations are done to compare how much mXP you earned versus other players, and then from there you’ll be awarded your XP during Abstract’s weekly issuances (usually on Tuesdays). The best way to earn Abstract XP by playing Captain & Company is simply to outcompete other players and collect more loot and finish more quests than they do!
Make sure you enable popups on critical Abstract-related screens and kap.gg/profile or you will miss claim modals.
What’s the Play-to-Nodedrop Campaign?
This is your chance to play to earn a piece of the Captain & Company ecosystem, where you earn nodes that will emit the total supply of circulating CNC tokens. You can learn more about how it works here, but, in short, most anything that you do to earn Abstract XP will also earn you points towards CNC nodes!
Important: Linking an Abstract Global Wallet (AGW)
The Abstract Global Wallet (AGW) is a user-friendly wallet designed to eliminate traditional crypto barriers. It uses passkeys, email IDs, or social logins for authentication instead of seed phrases or complex passwords, making it accessible even for users unfamiliar with blockchain technology.
Ready to dive in? Here’s how to set up your Abstract Global Wallet (AGW) for a seamless experience.
→ Creating Your AGW Account
Head over to https://www.abs.xyz/
Sign in with Google or other social accounts, no seed phrase needed. You can also add Abstract to MetaMask, but to farm XP on Abstract, you must use AGW.
Fund Your Account
Fund your wallet via onramp or bridge directly on AGW (super easy). You can also use tools like https://x.com/JumperExchange. Abstract’s native currency is ETH. Like other Ethereum Layer 2’s, Abstract is much faster and cheaper than mainnet, but you will still require a few dollars of gas just in case.
Connect Your Socials
Go to your Abstract profile and connect your social accounts. Connect as many as you’d like, but at least one in order to earn XP.
Claim Badges
In the Rewards section, claim your badges in just minutes. Special roles are available for certain holder communities, verify your wallet on the Abstract Discord to unlock them. And boom! You now have an Abstract Chain wallet.
→ Connecting to your AGW to KAP.gg
Go to your profile at kap.gg/profile
Find the “Wallets” section and log in to your Abstract Wallet.
Connect your Abstract Global Wallet (AGW)—and that’s it!
You're now all set to farm and earn mXP/Abstract XP!
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
For any questions not listed here, please check our existing FAQ Channel.
→ What is the reward cap for F2P (non-ship/pass holders)?
Nuggies: 200,000
mXP: 10,000
Airdrop Points: 300,000
Doubloons: 2,000,000
Buccaneer’s Crystal: 200
Captain’s Crystal: 50
Corsair’s Crystal: 10
To surpass these caps, you need to either purchase a Pirate Pass in kap.gg/profile, or join a guild with extra ships and click the Delegate button.
→ What does “Delegate” mean in the Guild?
If there’s an unused ship in your guild, a guild member may be able to use it, removing the F2P reward cap. However, when delegation is turned on, 100% of the delegatee’s quest rewards will be sent to the guild.
Note: An "unused ship" is a ship that hasn’t been used by a delegatee yet that day. So, if a guild has 5 ships but 6 people delegating, the first 5 delegatees to log in and earn rewards will "use" those 5 ships. The 6th person will still have the F2P cap for that day.

This game has many issues. Error messages at loading between matches. Non-reacting interface at skill points. Auction is dead. I didn't get all kind of rewards, like logs, blueprints at the end of pillage even if extracted and left match throught the pink ring. I'm on laptop win 10 running the downloaded CapAndCo.exe. I see no rewards on Abstract-I hope I may will on next tuesday
