The classic Captain & Company game mode is returning on July 29, 2026, and we’re launching it with additional new Enjin rewards! Pirates can again compete in the game mode they know and love while earning Enjin mXP to level up their Enjin Badge, which tracks in-game progress, plus the chance to win an Enjin Pirate Blob NFT, each infused with a share of a 100,000 ENJ prize pool sponsored by Enjin!

C&C Classic
A lot of you have told us the same thing over the past year: you wanted the ship battles back, without everything that got bolted on around them later. So that’s what C&C Classic is. We took the game down to its core and rebuilt it around the part people kept coming back for.
That means big fleet engagements as soon as you spawn in with no delay, and a big emphasis on ramming, broadside-to-broadside fights, and rapid repositioning. We’ve disabled runes and talents for now and will introduce them slowly over time, informed by player polls and feedback. We’re keeping the focus super narrow on purpose so new players and your pirating friends can queue up, battle, and keep the fluff out of the way.
Autopirate & AI Crews
The one real change to the formula is for people who play alone, and this was a very substantial rework.
Running a warship was always meant to be a crew effort, and solo captains felt that in a less-than-fun way in the past. So we’ve gone the extra mile and all ships are now joined by AI-powered crew members who handle stations alongside you. They react to what’s happening in the fight, man the guns or the helm depending on what you’re doing, and generally keep you from being a sitting duck just because nobody else is online.
To make this even more interesting, we’ve combined this with a new “Autopirate” system. For users who have a Pirate Pass and enable Autopirate in their in-game settings, they’ll be added to the pool for AI crewmates while offline, effectively still earning rewards for helping out their pals even while they aren’t playing themselves. Permanently online piracy!
The Enjin Pass NFT
The Enjin Badge is the first of our integrations with Enjin. All players may mint an Enjin Pass in their profile page (capnco.gg/profile), and the Enjin Pass levels up over time with dynamic metadata based on how much Enjin mXP you manage to mint, progressing from Bronze, Silver, to Gold tiers based on your performance versus all other active participants.
You can mint Enjin mXP on your profile page (capnco.gg/profile) after earning doubloons in-game while you have a Pirate Pass. You can mint as often as you like, and some pirates say that those who mint regularly may get some extra attention from the powers that be.
The Pirate Blob 100,000 ENJ Giveaway
To celebrate the newest age of piracy, we’re celebrating with a giveaway with an NFT giveaway! A total of 100,000 ENJ, sponsored by Enjin, will be infused into Enjin Pirate Blob NFTs and awarded to winning players. Players may keep and trade the NFTs as they wish, or burn them immediately to redeem the infused ENJ.
A total of 50 winners will be chosen, with each Enjin mXP earned by players as one sweepstakes ticket to win! All participants during the period receive a small amount of free Enjin mXP for entering, no purchase necessary. To earn more Enjin mXP for more chances to win, pick up a Pirate Pass in your profile page (capnco.gg/profile) to earn 1 Enjin mXP for every Doubloon you loot in-game, rocketing you to the top of the leaderboards!
